Separating substances – Common Food Items
Grade 6 children were split into 4 teams. One team made paneer. Another team made tea. Another sieved flour. There was one team which poured water into a jar of sand. Are you wondering what’s going on?!Well, children resorted to the above measures to demonstrate the separation of substances through filtration, sieving, sedimentation & decantation. We’ve said this a million times before, we’ll say it again, this is how we make learning fun!!!
