Non-sequential Writing

Tamil

Summing Up…

When written in sequence, the lowercase English alphabets are a confusing mix of anti-clockwise strokes (a, c, d, e, f etc.,), clockwise (b, h, j, m, n etc.,) and simple strokes (i, l, t etc.,). (In contrast, the உயிர் எழுத்துக்கள் of Tamil are ALL clockwise strokes). To make writing less tedious, alphabets are introduced non-sequentially, starting with simple strokes first. Math numbers however, are introduced in sequence.
Children learn to recite and subsequently write the உயிர் எழுத்துக்கள், திருக்குறள் and shlokas.

Recitation

Bhagavad Gita, Tamil and Sanskrit shlokas and rhymes are taught.
